Introduction
Acquasparta is characterized by monogenetic centers aligned N-S along a 10 km line. It's pyroclastic flow, fall, and surge deposits form a small plateau and are likely of phreatomagmatic origin. Ar/Ar dating of these products has produced an age of about 390 ka (Peccerillo, 2005).---
